Wine Tasting

TASTE, the annual Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce (DJCC) wine tasting, is one of our signature philanthropic events. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the DJCC Easter Egg Hunt for the Blind later this spring and the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), which assists visually-impaired individuals and their families. You don’t want to miss out on this exciting evening!
This year’s TASTE will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. at the Samuel Lynne Galleries, located in the Dallas Design District. Samuel Lynne Galleries represents the Reflectionists and 21st Century Contemporary artists with an extensive collection of 3-D Oils, Originals on Canvas, Mixed Media and Sculpture.
Each guest of TASTE will get the opportunity to sample and discover up to ten premier wines from around the world. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and guests will also have the chance to bid on exciting silent auction items while enjoying the vibrant art featured throughout the gallery.
Tickets are $30 for DJCC members and $35 for non-members until February 3, when prices will increase. Personal and corporate sponsorships are also available at a variety of levels and are a great way to show your support of this important event and the DJCC.
We count on over 40 volunteers to help make this event a success. Numerous volunteer opportunities are available for event planning as well as help the night of the event. Volunteers will be responsible for a variety of duties incudiing event publicity, event set up, sponsorships, guest registration, wine pouring, and other logistics. We invite you to volunteer as well as get your friends and colleagues involved.
